BROC Community Action celebrated the receipt of a $12,000 grant from the Dunkin’ Joy In Childhood Foundation’s Northeast Chapter. The foundation’s goal is to bring joy to kids battling hunger or illness. BROC Community Food Shelf will provide “A Fruitful Year for Kids” utilizing the grant funds to purchase fresh fruit for area kids for an entire year.
